Yes—compared to some of the stuff the WSJ has printed in the past, today’s editorial is rather tepid.
A few years ago, an editor from the WSJ’s opinion pages died of colorectal cancer. He had wanted to be treated with Erbitux (which was not yet approved) and was convinced that Pazdur had cut off his access to the only drug that might have kept him alive. The WSJ’s editorial page has been on an anti-Pazdur vendetta ever since.
