I'm trying to put the perspective back into the conversation. It isn't all gloom or glory.
There was an ownership fight. It was a fight about the capital account on the balance sheet. But it had no relevance to the upper reaches of the P&L (except insofar as deciding who owns the losses).
The opportunity wasn't affected by the option scheme. I long ago reconciled myself with the notion that the management at Wave is not made for sainthood. I also understand that I cannot rely on Steven's forecasts. I've lived with those things for years. And I've remained invested because I think the opportunity remains open.
Maybe coming from where I am this options debacle is less of a shock. I still give Wave the whole of 2007 to make good on its ideas. That hasn't changed.
