Yes they are getting the shows for free that the stockholders paid millions for. Not only that, but consider the intellectual property rights belong to the preferred shareholders and they would get paid first in any buyout scenario. But I don't beleive PBS and Trinity are profiting as they don't have commercial advertisements and are non-profit organizations.
