He was referring to the specific instance of gathering information ostensibly from the "company" and disseminating it on a public stock message board as if there was no reason to identify the source.
Would you care if you received information from a high school temp hired to field a barrage of phone calls, a newly hired receptionist, or an authoritative figure in management? If you were basing any trading or investment decisions even slightly from a list of questions and answers posted would it matter at all who the source was?
Maybe a mechanic wouldn't see the difference.
