Duane D. Fadness has over twenty years experience in the oil & gas industry and is currently employed as the Land Manager of Western Gas Resources, Inc., a $3.9 billion gas giant recently acquired by Texas-based, Anadarko Petroleum. Prior to joining Western Gas, Mr. Fadness was a consultant to the Hunt family of Dallas, Texas.

In the early 1980s, he was employed as a Special Projects Landman for the Hunt family of Dallas , TX . During this time Mr. Fadness traveled extensively in the western United States and Canada negotiating drilling deals, asset acquisitions and land trades. Mr. Fadness was then involved as a founder and director in a start-up Junior Capital Pool public company trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange, which was sold shortly thereafter. He has consulted in the land, marketing, pipeline, and business development aspects of the oil & gas industry. Mr. Fadness has also developed limited partnerships, raised funding and drilled oil & gas prospects in the Rocky Mountain region. He has a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) from the University of Denver and is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL).
