drjohn, that's not what he meant. Production model means you produce hi- and low-end cpu's from the same wafer, depending on test result and business need.

My idea was that Pentium-M is clearly faster than Celeron, so customers will be served better if Celeron is discarded to be replaced by desktop P-M. But that's not what Intel wants. Usually, the customer interest is the last thing Intel cares about.
