Yes, I'm not sure if this is a trap or the real deal. Some things point to a trap, others suggest real deal.

There are two things that suggest it is a trap. The TNX, which has been moving with the COMP and NDX, now has two un-filled daily gaps on the chart. If the COMP is to launch above 2000, at least the gap at 41.50 should fill (the other gap below 35 might wait until 2005 to fill, if at all).

Furthermore, the NDX did not tag the rising support out of the Oct. and Nov. lows at the recent low and also missed the lower Bollinger Band. Normally we move up for good when we hit a level that has multiple support.
