You should have gotten a Cray

Multi-Streaming Processor (MSP)
The Cray SV1ex combines four 2 GFLOPS processors to create one eight-vector pipe processor that delivers 8 GFLOPS peak performance. The system dynamically reconfigures the combination of MSP and standard processors based on the system workload.

GigaRing I/O Channel
The backbone of the Cray SV1ex interconnect and I/O architecture is the GigaRing™ I/O channel. This high-performance, counter-rotating, dual-ring channel moves large amounts of data via high-bandwidth connections among Cray SV1ex peripheral nodes. Supported industry-standard networking protocols include HIPPI, FDDI, Ethernet, ATM and gigabit Ethernet. Disks and tapes are supported by SCSI, ESCON, and Fibre Channel-arbitrated loop connections.

Operating System
The Cray SV1ex supercomputer uses the proven UNICOS operating system, renowned for its flexibility and performance in parallel environments. In addition, the software environment is fully compatible with a variety of highly-tuned UNICOS applications. The CF90™ Fortran compiler provides automatic vectorization; scalar optimization; and Autotasking™, a parallel-processing feature that allows programmers to partition individual programs so that the parts execute simultaneously on multiple processors.
