GG's press release sure sounds "strange" to me. I could see if GG said they believed in gold as a currency and were basically just replacing dollar reserves with gold reserves, but talk about long-term trendlines and emphasizing in caps in a news release? It just sounds overly promotional to me, but then again, I feel the same about many miners. Skepticism seems to work for me.

Hi Joe Bob,
I felt the same way, especially w/r to what I thought was excessive capitalization (and deserving of a 15 yard penalty! <g>) on the part of the PR person who did the copy.

I didn't have a good feeling about bolding them (for emphasis) or just leaving them 'naked', as they appeared to me, so after much contemplation, I took the mid ground and italicized them while pasting the PR here.

I think the comments w/r to buying bullion when it pulls back to the long term trendlines was intended for other gold mining companies who were asked to consider using the same gold buying strategy as a means of increasing shareholder value.
