The 5600+ is a nice chip and very nice at $185 but the big OEMs haven't passed through the price changes in their systems. I'm watching it like a hawk.
Intel will have their price cuts next week so the two companies should be at parity. One difference is that the 5600+ is 90nm and the E6600 is at 65nm so cost of production is lower with Intel's chip.
