Yes I agree I am catching the tops on occasion but often "get smoked" as well by an unforeseen immediate drop or a slow bleed. The % range you mentioned sounds like a good discipline, I have a hard time scalping due to the small increments that I use ( for downside protection ) end up with a high commission to equity ratio so it is difficult to find a channel for trading considering bid/ask spread where I can come out ahead flipping. I am sure they exist and I have to look harder for them. I am glad you used PNMS as an example for I am sitting idle in that one after watching it drop but would like to pump my holdings back up by flipping it a bit.
