I couldn't agree more with his final statement, quoted above, and my only quibble is over when the next shoe will drop. I am probably going to be wrong but I will stick with the view that the current "recovery" will end up as ephemeral and unsustainable, with more hype than long term substance. I expect trouble to begin in the first half of 2004 rather than waiting for 2005.
I hope I am wrong, though, and I am most certainly in a small minority.
