Pres Bush is now signing the Medicare Bill (cnbc)--I think he means well, but I wonder if they really understand what the costs are going to be--with the rising health problems in the US, plus the 77 million boomers coming on medicare soon, plus the new drug benefit,plus the increased life expectancy, plus the tendency of the 3 big players (legal, Insurance, Medical) to squeeze everything they can out of Medicare, this program going to be one monster to fund over next 10-15 years. in edit--btw, fraud costs are really going to skyrocket with the free drugs--fraud is now guestamated at about 30 to 40% on Medicare
