Imagine this,since the Rutgers team had never even heard of Don Imus until Al Sharpton chose to jump all over it,imagine them just going about their lives,as they would have had not Sharpton chosen to make this a cause celebre,believe me,nothing would have ever come to the forefront if not for Sharpton,whether good or bad is yet to be determined,at least we now have a dialog re race.Sharpton is a hypocrite,as is Jesse Jackson,neither of them have apologized re Duke University,or Tawana Brawley.These Rutgers women would never have had to go through what they did if not for Sharpton,the IMUS remarks(bad as they were),would never have gotten the national stage they did if not for Sharpton.Call it anyway you see it,but IMUS made a mistake,he acknowledged it,and then the thought police moved in.We will rue the day talk radio doesn't offend people.
