not threads, no. I do know that housing prices in many countries are much higher than in USA. Nice house in turkey or cypress is 1-2 million. US looks like third world country to some visitors.

but foreingners stll own a huge amount of US assets, something like more than 30%. 9/11 has more to do with a possible problem than defict spending or anything else. The US was a place of last resort, a safe haven etc
