This isnt going to come across right, but I KNOW RHODIES for the east coast BETTER THAN THEM and and more honest in what will or wont do well....90% of Greers are not hardy for here..I've met Harold WAY back, fine man, excellent promoter (much better than i obviously) thats not knocking them, just the truth...and as i said i have a ton more rhodies not listed...(When i moved to Maine I started the Maine Rhodo Chapter, i think Harold started his chapter way back)....it makes a huge difference jd as far as rhodos knowing which are adapted to certain areas and truly hardy....i could write a book on it....oh well....years back i listed 200 rhodos,,,and i decided not to play that game.
Of the 1000 or more rhodos avaialable, there are probably 40 great ones..again, i AM a rhodo fan, thats how i got started in the biz....but i decided not to play the "sell every new rhodo variety under the sun, as ifd rather sell the best ones only.
If you want to se one of the nicest rhodo collections on the east coast, work out a visit to my place in Maine. (When i moved there from jersey in 86 i took a thousand or so with me....(and the climate in Maine there are some that will thrive there but not in NJ..and vice versa.
Who here wants to comfort the parents of the soldiers below?
4005 brave American soldiers killed..sent to their death by a cowardly president called bush and the opposition that enabled it.
