My Condolences to you MISH, and your extended Family.... big loss and unexpected, I'm so sorry.

I lost an Uncle and an Aunt in a similiar fashion and I always viewed it as the Hospital error, and it was there fault. I have heard from other sources, that Care facilities have a problem with competent help, and cover themselves by hiring 'bodies' obviously questionable competence but less expensive personnel in order to cover themselves. Then you read and hear stories about human loss, and other stories of neglect.
Broken bones in my opinion do not lend themselves to death in my view.
