Mish, your story hit a note with me. My father (soon to be 88) fell in the garden about 2 yrs ago and could not get up. My brother found him there some time later, doctors could not determine afterwards if it was a stroke or not, but his strength, especially in his legs has been missing ever since. He is a shell of his former active strong self, and I fear his time with us will be limited - he could hardly get up from our couch at Thanksgiving. Thank the dear lord for the extended time he as given us to enjoy Dad. I strive to enjoy the remaining time with him, and remember the better times we had when I was a kid.
