Unlike CRT monitors, LCD's need to be run in their native resolution for best clarity. A panel the size you are looking at will most likely have a native resolution of 1600 X 1200, which will give you more "real estate" to place charts on, but not larger text. If it's your plan to change the resolution to give larger images, you may want to consider a 21" CRT instead.
