Ok, I will give the particulars in a minute but I can tell you that it was the wife that got me going on making a good purchase. She was having an eye problem (we both trade off of 4 screens) and she made me buy a $30 tester that she heard about that measured the EMF coming from everything from our stove to Cell phones to our old monitors ( I sure did not like what we discovered). To make a long storey short, when we switched to the LCD's her eye problem disappeared immediately, and I am sure that we both now have less eye strain--anyway, will tell you what we deceided on in a little while and where we got them
