Fortunately, I do not know the answer...found another SI board first. -g- Most of the posts were informative and had some logic behind them as well as charts and articles to read.

Armed with the knowledge from your old thread, the first couple of chapters from E&M and the analysis from stockcharts I sold every dime in our retirement accounts (20+ years) on 3/31/00. It also included a Japan fund purchased when the Nikkei was around 13000...talk about dumb luck!

Sometimes you walk away from the computer and feel confident with a buy or sell, that Friday was one of those days. But I never expected the next Tuesday, what a day. I had just learned what time the market opened within the past year and was never involved in any of our investments.

I had to say something that day and other than 'What the hell is going on' this was all I could post. A sincere thank you to you and many others that share their information.

This is not to say that all info presented on the boards is correct, far from it, but there is plenty of free information. Whether or not it is meant to deceive has to be judged by each individual.

Have a great weekend and thanks again.

P.S. Stockcharts was a relatively new service at the time, I found a review in S&C magazine.
