Before you publicly display your ignorance you should do a little research.

A nuclear bomb if exploded IN SPACE ( but not in the atmosphere ) creates an electromagnetic pulse that can knock out almost everything electrical from coast to coast. It erases all magnetic media. The Soviets exploded one in Space just before signing a test ban treaty disallowing such types of testing. Since then they have developed some "hardening" material to protect magnetic media but it is very pricey last I looked. A nuclear bomb going off 300 miles above the U.S.A. WOULD cause a major melt down of MOST telecom and computer systems systems. MIGs in the mean time would function just fine.

Do yourself a favor and do some research before you respond.
