Great find, Dew. I am happy to see that they are still progressing on new Atryn applications other than HD and DIC/sepsis, in this case COPD.

It is already 4 years since they reported on the positive results of preclinical work done on rhATIII with the UTMB at Galveston and Shriners Hospital to treat acute long injury from smoke inhalation and pneumonia. That was an animal study using sheep. I hope they have been making further progress meanwhile.

The wide range of applications makes Atryn very attractive for a juicy partnership in the US. I hope we won't have to wait until Atryn/HD gets approved by the FDA.
