Judge Finds Sudan Is Liable in Cole Case

NORFOLK, Va., March 14 (AP) — A federal district judge held Wednesday that Sudan was liable for terrorists’ bombing of the destroyer Cole in 2000. He said he would need more time to determine damages for the plaintiffs, the families of the 17 sailors killed.
