No, I see it to mean you need to be a stockholder of record for 6 months before demanding to see the STOCK LEDGER, you do not have to be a holder of 5%. If you are a stockholder but not for six months, you then need the 5%(or a combined 5% with other shareholders) This does not allow you to inspect the books...just the STOCK LEDGER. It could shed light on the issue of dilution only IMO. The "books" require a certain percentage but to inspect the STOCK LEDGER requires either 6 months OR 5%...JMHO...if you have 5% and bought in 3 days ago it would allow you to demand to see the STOCK LEDGER. JMHO

IN MY OPINION. Caution always advised.
