Exclusivity means they are the only company licensed to sell the devise in certain markets, at the exclusion of all others, as agreed to in the contract with Datawind. There is no fee attached to the exclusivity except that required to be paid by the licensee (EdgeTech) for that right. They however may in turn charge any monthly fee they can get away with from the subscriber for use of the device (like on your cell phone).
