I disagree that there will never be a debt cancellation and that shares can simply be sold and reverse split again.
The thinking behind that leaves me with more questions than answers.
At the end of December, there appeared to be only a single shareholder. Shortly thereafter, a shareholder appeared to own enough stock to file a Form 13D. Then 50 million shares were issued. There were suddenly two large shareholders as that event took place.
Those are significant events in the history of a company, and I believe they deserve thoughtful discussion.
What interests me most, however, is a matter of principle.
Music Licensing Inc has repeatedly emphasized the protection of artists, songs, intellectual property, and rights holders. I respect that mission.
At the same time, an anonymous online identity was connected to a real-world identity. Once that connection was made, the anonymity was gone forever.
I view privacy and identity rights as important assets too.
Because of that, I will continue advocating for a meaningful debt cancellation and a constructive resolution that recognizes the broader circumstances involved.
Reasonable people can disagree on the path forward.
But I believe accountability, fairness, and respect for individual rights should be evaluated in this situation.
As I’ve said before, the ending to this story has not been written yet.
