It does help. I called him this morning, lamenting at the start of the conversation that shareholders weren't being provided enough info. His response was essentially that these things take time, and that spending money on a press release to announce they are doing what they should be doing doesn't make any sense. And honestly, that made sense.
From what I gathered, things are progressing somewhat slowly, although not without cause. Case in point, to ramp up production of the product to initiate KRM-II-81 toxicology studies they had to switch ingredients in its manufacture, since in the lab the manufacturing was done in small batches under a hood and to produce kilograms of the material needed they had to come up with another route of manufacturing due to toxicity issues, which appears to be resolved. I came away with the understanding that the entire 24 months of the grant money would be spent on IND-enabling efforts.
I did mention that I thought the website may hamper their efforts in a capital raise. He seemed to think I was the only investor out of 100 who mentioned the shortcomings of their web presence, and that while he wanted to devote the time to that task he was stretched too thin to do so at this time.
Now maybe while I am one of the very few investors to mention the outdated and uninspiring look of the website, I figure I can't be the only one thinking it. I'm not rich and maybe rich people are smart enough to see past the glitz of a sharp website, but I somehow feel as though everyone is the same at their core when it comes to presentation. And so I think they are falling short there...unless the money is guaranteed and they are just biding their time to be like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.
Who knows?
Anyhow, GLTA.
