This issue re DaVita and Fresenius is one of the major rubs in trying to game this out. The conflicting motives of patient care (supposedly prioritized by CMS) and corporate profits of the providers lead me to bet on the providers leaning toward the bottom line of hewing to the older and more profitable (to them) drugs.
How do each of the posters on the board here solve this conflict in their personal strategic analysis?
