While some brokers do not let you buy or short this some do.
One of my brokers do not let you buy so therefore how could one cover.
Another one of my brokers lets you, buy, sell or short. Although i would not short this at this price i did put an order in for a high price to short and it would let me proceed with a 616% borrow fee.
So yes the average person can trade this with the right brokerage.
This goes both ways because i had a stock the other day that i wanted to buy and that broker that will trade this would not let me trade that.
I guess we have to have multiple online brokerage accounts to be able to trade what we want.
I also have seen that a lot of Canadians have been able to buy and sell stocks that USA citizens cannot.
This stock yesterday was way up and i thought of buying it but i never pulled the trigger to buy.
Anyone that shorted and covered must of made a large amount of money
