Yes, the price drop is so COMPLETELY counterintuitive.
Many retail stock buyers live by the adage: Buy on disaster, sell on news...or something along these lines, but they don't often get where this thinking comes from but they operate on it anyway .

The thought comes from the observation that many times when a company has great news, they share that news as they quietly dilute the O.S. The great news serves as a diversion of sorts.

So, you observe how the company behaves. Are they doing something shareholders really don't care for while the news is supposed to carry the day?
Only a careful investor would pay attention to see .

In the case of ktos, I don't think they do this sort of thing...so...this is one of those times, I believe, where the drop in price is not really anything to get distracted about . In fact, from your perspective, it may be a chance to buy shares at a price you really like.
If you find, after studying, that Kratos does not do things you think they should be doing to create value for you, it may be time to liquidate.
