A possible new use for our spider silk go to 5:22 in the video at the link.
. I googled " multistrand carbon fiber cable vs kraigbiocraft labs spider silk". There was plenty of information the AI gave me but this stood out "Tensile Strength (Force-to-Weight): While carbon fiber has a higher ultimate tensile strength in absolute terms (often 4,000+ MPa), spider silk outperforms most technical fibers on a pound-for-pound (specific strength) basis." I went deeper into AI mode and restated the question "Tensile Strength (Force-to-Weight): While carbon fiber has a higher ultimate tensile strength in absolute terms (often 4,000+ MPa), spider silk outperforms most technical fibers on a pound-for-pound (specific strength) basis. " Then I asked What is the weight difference per pound

"Carbon fiber is approximately 34% heavier than Kraig Biocraft Labs’ spider silk by volume. When comparing them pound-for-pound, the "weight difference" is best understood through their density, which determines how much space a pound of each material occupies. "

34 % reduction in weight seems significant hopefully China and others adopt this new floating wind turbine technology using our spider silk. I wonder if the blimp could be made of spider silk too I bet our spider silk is more durable
