Interesting situation. I wonder if they are trying to help the shorts.
I have my micro-cap stocks, including GNCC, at E-Trade. Out of the blue I get a notice from them that they are no longer going to maintain the account, and my choice is to transfer them out or sell them, or else they will liquidate them in 30 days. Neither IKBR or other brokerage accounts, are willing to accept the transfer of micro-caps. So you are pretty much stuck to selling them. There are no "certificates" any more to order (in today's day and age). It's a good way to help the shorts, by forcing you to sell at .00001.
Any ideas????
