The videos we saw were edited, taken out of context.......you know, the favorite tactic of Trump supporters. 'Cause 'context' is SO difficult and, and, it doesn't support the lame ass point I'm trying to make'.

So folks who video’d the workers at the facility and said those things to them about how much they charge for parts and pieces, that did not happen? Then why were they charged with recording it if it never occurred.

Discussion about selling fetal tissue. What actually happened?

**The 2015 undercover videos by David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) did occur, capturing Planned Parenthood staff discussing fetal tissue donation reimbursements, but no illegal selling of parts was proven.** [en.wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_Parenthood_2015_undercover_videos_controversy)

## Video Content
Activists posed as biotech reps and recorded meetings where staff mentioned fees of $30–$100 to cover procurement and shipping costs, not profits. Full unedited videos showed no intent to profit, aligning with federal law allowing cost recovery for research donations. Multiple state investigations, including Texas and Missouri, cleared Planned Parenthood of wrongdoing. ## Legal Charges Against Videographers
Daleiden and Sandra Merritt faced charges for secret recording without consent and fake IDs. In Texas, felony indictments were dismissed in 2016 and 2020. In California, 15 felonies from 2017 led to a January 2025 plea deal: no contest pleas reduced to misdemeanors, then dismissed with no jail, fines, or admission of guilt. ## Outcomes and Civil Cases
Planned Parenthood won a 2019 civil jury trial, awarded over $2 million in damages for fraud, trespass, and privacy invasion; appeals upheld this. No criminal convictions stuck against Planned Parenthood for tissue sales, despite the controversy sparking congressional probes.
