I believe the issue is you are including other pharma companies that you shouldn’t be when looking at PE comparisons. You are bringing in specialty and brand pharma that have much bigger PE ratios.
Now do a similar exercise for only generic pharma. That’s what Elite is, and then return with the result. I think you will find that Elite’s PE of 9.54 is right where it should be based on actual performance.
