Korea was a 'police action' and every subsequent American war was by Congressional Authorization; no one disputes that declarations of war were circumvented. Doesn't mean those who served were tainted by the amorality and incompetence of those who sent them to fight.

Really think most 18-20 year olds are political sciencey enough to say 'hey, no declaration of war; I ain't going?'
