Sorry Micro....don't think that's correct. Kurds used the Swiss Dinar prior to NID but it was exchanged at 1 to 150 NID from Oct 2003- Jan 2004. NID is only national currency for all of Iraq. Kurdistan may be a regional Gov't but they are still part of Iraq...no matter how hard they wish it weren't true. NID is there currency too.
