Software question:
So on this:"My question regarding other software companies: is it not about AI replacing that software but rather that the productivity gains in coding could really lower software prices due to competition and/or customer pressure? Like you say, you are potentially doing the work of 20 people."

It still depends.

more competitive pressure maybe but its still a function of how far the tentacles are into the enterprise.

Think about every company inplementing SAP or some ERP system. They routinely cite implementation problems impacting earnings.

Some things are not switched lightly and certainly not for a slightly better deal. The competitors would have to either be much cheaper or provide much better features and remember on the latter Workday or whoever can also iterate way faster too if you aren’t paying 300 engineers at 250k a pop with benefits.

We will have to see of course. The world could change, but as of now very complicated very integrated and very risky software stacks especially ones with regulatory flux and risk will probably not be easily disrupted.
