Jesus paid it all all to Him I owe...sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow. Outside this morning on the back porch having a cup of coffee…watching the dark of night giveway to the light of day. Looking across the landscape at the snow…the tree branches full…the ground covered with several inches…thinking about yesterday…the 30th of January…just over a month into winter. That time of year when everything has lost its leaves and everything has turned brown...you know...that look the Earth gets in the middle of winter when everything has died back and in some ways it just looks tarnished. That's the awesome thing about snow…it just kinda cleans everything up during the winter time. Nothing like a good blanket of snow to make everything look fresh and clean. And as we know as believers… that is what happened to us on our day of salvation. At whatever age we were when we got saved. And no matter how good or how bad of a life we had lived up to that point. We were tarnished…we were sinful…we were living in darkness…simply because we were unsaved...we had not yet been born again. We had not yet been forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus and God's awesome holy grace. And in that moment that we were Born again God truly did…inside our hearts…made us clean like the beauty of the snow this morning. We became a new creation and every sinful thing…every wicked and hateful thing…every vile and sickening thing that we had ever done...God cleansed us of all of that...and...He not only forgave us…but He took all of that past sin and as scripture tells us…He tossed all of it into the sea of forgetfulness. God chose to remember it no more. Grace…God giving us what we don't deserve. Mercy… God not giving us what we do deserve. And as we know that shed blood of Jesus and God's grace…after we became born again…every time we mess up…and by the way the definition of mess up is Sin. We can simply just confess it to God…because I believe…that once a person is "truly" saved…they are always saved. But as a born again believer we also have to remember…when we do sin…there is not necessarily a free pass…we still have a home in heaven…but there comes correction and discipline. God loves us too much to let us continue trying to do it our way. A new creation…out with the old and in with the new. And if you're not saved...you're not born again…all you simply have to do is from your heart…ask Jesus…ask God to forgive you of all of your sinfull past. And it don't matter what you have done in your past…i mean anything no matter how bad how wicked and evil you have been. You will be forgiven... "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." How beautiful it is looking out across the pasture field this morning…this beautiful day that the Lord has made with this blanket of snow...how pure and white and quiet it is and how awesome God has made everything look here in the middle of winter. Thank you God for saving my soul from eternal hell…thank you Jesus for walking with me every step of everyday…and thank you Holy Spirit who lives within me for Your guidance....Yes...…Jesus paid it all all to Him I owe...sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow.

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
Isaiah 1:18

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Psalm 51:7
