And per the dot plot in 2024 the fed was going to cut for Trumps term (wasn't only up to Powell it is decided at fomc so multiple people)... Except Tariffs.... As an economist it's easy to see why he put the pause on. Don't be so biased... It would've been fine if Trump did calculated tariffs instead of letting his ego and dementia get to him by going in with a damn sledgehammer instead of a brush.... You diehards are so blinded, everything he does is good and you find no fault in anything he does.. it's wild.. face reality. Powell is a good Republican and is well respected in the finance and economic world (myself included)
