*** "Now that we have stopped the trading in these stocks, we will focus our attention on the people behind the spam and profiting from it," Schonfeld said.
He said the SEC is investigating the companies themselves as well as outsiders, and that the same people are likely behind multiple spam campaigns. ***
So they haven't got a clue who's behind it but they suspend trading ? They even admit it is probably not the companies : "the same people are likely behind multiple spam campaigns"
This has been going on for years and years without ANY investigation but now - instead of investigating quietly (might be of interest for the investigation right?) they FIRST suspend the trading THEN go look who is behind it ?
Something is not right.
Is SEC working in the intrest of the investors here ?
