And yes, the targets are very much in the immediate vicinity of, if not mixed in with, the ballast stones.
For the record, the company has not said the target is silver. I think the SeaSearcher is telling them which metal it is but because the tech has not been proven to the public, they are not saying because Kyle knows doesn't want the SEC jumping all over him. So, I think they know and are confident in their tech because of the extensive testing and what they learned from Melbourne.
But a soft metal target under the crust that jams up the drill bit? Gold would not weld together over time like silver does. And they've said these are large targets, not trinkets or a handful of coins. So maybe several chests (or just one!) of silver coins that have welded together? Is that what they've tapped into? That's my conclusion. And it's not a ballast stone they've hit because that would be a hard rock (some of the ballst stones are jade) and the drill would have just dug through it, not jammed up in it.
I think it's what we've all been waiting for... well most of us anyway. It's what shareholders have been waiting on.
I think a confirmation of the metal from the company and we start seeing some real movement in the stock price.
Could be a very exciting month for the company and shareholders.
And this is the first target of many targets on the first wreck of many wrecks.
