A silly discussion.

Take someone, millions of ones, say, who goes straight from high school into the military for whatever reasons. How are they possibly equipped to determine the legality of orders that come down the command chain? Sure, some stuff is obvious but a lot isn't. I mean, would you have refused an order to napalm civilians or invade Iraq or pilot the Enola Gay?

Consult a lawyer? That at takes no time and costs no money, either, I'm sure.

So, yeah, unless they studied military law in high school they won't have a clue and neither you nor Kelly (with whom I agree 100%) describe a path for them to get one.
