The greatness thing about this forum is the openness of anyone's thoughts on any discussion. Before those Republican and conservative forums kicked me out for expression almost anything that did not fall in with what was acceptable behavior.
I was amazed at conservatives, it would take maybe a day of posting anything before I was labeled a liberal, or someone who doesn't understands that free speech, means free accepted speech that must pass the test of the moderators of those boards. I lasted maybe three days, but then I was doing my best to tone my posts and try and keep myself around longer than day.
To think in America, that a conservative would not want to listen to anything that might not agree with a conservative, but then when my father was a Republican, and his son was learning how to be one also, that Vietnam war was the issue. How dare a son of Republican, conservative father dare says he did not want to go to Vietnam.
My father had no problems with me, but many of his conservative friends did. and many of them did not even fight in World War II like my dad did. They would remind me that at the slogan back then, America, love it or leave it. Think I remember that correctly, the other one, I could disagree with the Vietnam War, but I needed to go over there and die for my country.
People wonder why anyone leaves the Republican party, or conservativism, it is easy, they think for themselves instead of being told how to think. Now trump tells the Republican party members how to think, just think about that statement for a minute. Trump, think, now that is truly bizarre.
