Monocle thank you for sharing your response from management! much appreciated. It confirms my thoughts on how Niocorp is progressing below, although others may see it differently. I beleive: Jim Sims’ response confirms that NioCorp’s financing timeline is far more advanced than most might realize. Instead of waiting for the final DFS in @ Q2 2026, EXIM is already reviewing the drilling results, reserve uplift data, engineering chapters, and updated financial models in real time as Niocorp completes them. This is exactly what I/we & many here have suspected: Niocorp is giving EXIM “chapters” of the Feasibility Study early so the agency can run its due diligence in parallel, not afterward. That dramatically shortens the actual path to approval and means EXIM already knows the tenor and quality of the early drill results long before retail ever sees them.
NOTE: (NIOCORP/IBC just met with EXIM last week! Batches of Drill assays are pending by Mid Dec. 2025 per Mark Smith..) I would think some will drop next week, & that EXIM already has them in hand, they dropped a poison pill to protect the U.S. asset! MP materials & Perpetua also tanked to $5-6 & had to deal with Shenge/or other issues before catapulting to higher valuations!!)
Monocle: Jim also clarified a major point that many investors misunderstand: the 35-day Congressional notice is not a vote and not a risk factor. Congress doesn’t approve or deny anything — they are simply notified. The real work is happening now, behind the scenes, because the project has “high visibility and support” inside EXIM and Washington. This kind of language is extremely rare and signals that Elk Creek is being treated as a strategic U.S. industrial-base asset, not just another mine. APEX buying up the surrounding area locks down the DISTRICT. (This is huge tell imho!)
Jims's response aligns perfectly with a national-security and district-scale thesis forming around Elk Creek. EXIM is accelerating their review, the government already has the key technical data, the political backing is growing heading into the Dec. 5 Open House, and IMHO~ NioCorp is being positioned as the anchor of a broader U.S. critical-minerals district. Jim’s email confirms that the real decision-makers are already moving & I can't wait for assays to drop, DFS completion (thinking Jan. or sooner),Feb = ScAl alloy unveiling per "Dingman", OFFTAKES following, ESIA & then EXIM/UKREF/German FID to GB in mid 2026 my guess. The Catalysts are stacked & I think we will be leaving the 6$ RANGE SOON! Form your own opinions & conclusions as always... Keeping my front row seats with many & popcorn at the ready!
Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving with family & friends! Chico
