I would just enjoy waking up to a day when the news is about America getting back to being about Americans. Instead, each day America has to wake up a trump deflection story from the day before mishaps.

Once again, a Republican president has managed to make life miserable for millions of Americans. I have lived many places, and a few were in smaller type towns. That story about Tyson foods closing that meat packing plant and eliminating 3200 jobs really hurts.

I was working at an International Paper plant one winter, it was considered a great job for that area, it was hard work, decent pay, and overtime if you wanted it. That overtime was appealing at a young age; you could bring home a paycheck that was livable.

About 15 years later they closed that plant, and that entire area slowly died. Many American moves away from bigger cities as they get older, raise a family, but when that steady paycheck vanishes so does that piece of America.
