I believe IONQ gets bought out or taken over, before it reaches six - 9s. Once they have the key to fully unlock quantum, it will be too late.

Someone else, a big entity will let IONQ do the heavy lifting, as they are on the right track, and don't want to upset the barrel of apples. But at some point, a big entity will swoop in and want control of this emerging technology.

And that will be $$$$$.
