With the share consolidation complete looks like the price is being raised to do a financing at least it's not being done at the recent lows.

I am not a fan of raising capital through brokers as they have way to much influence on companies... Rights offerings are the best way to raise capital in my opinion and honestly public companies should be forced to do rights offerings only to raise capital and if shareholders do not want to exersize their rights then they can sell them to other investors in to public market. This is the only way to ensure the fiduciary relationship is not breached in my opinion with they original investors which I believe is breached when new investors are granted rights to financing options over preexisting shareholders; I think a good lawyer could easily win a lawsuit using this argument and make a name for him or herself.
