I've got the biggest tax bill I've ever had this year. But I sold off a bunch of stuff in July. Was gone too much to watch the market so just went to cash with about 30% of my portfolio. mostly tech stocks. Some glad I sold, some I should have obviously bought back in much cheaper.

Just my opinion, of course.
