I agree that MM's buy and sell shares to make their commissions. They have ways of moving the SP in either direction depending on what they need to do.
It is a very interesting subject to gain knowledge on. There are books written about the role Market Makers play. I know that if they want to hold the SP down in normal volume trading they can. What I want to see is news released that drives the SP up so fast with huge volume so that the MM's cant control it. YEAH!!!!!
